In a small courtyard in Via Porpora there’s a place managed by Il Borgo in Città ONLUS (an association that supports the social reintegration of people with complicated backgrounds) that is full of hidden treasures. The moment you cross the threshold you’ll feel in your grandmother cellar: a messy room where you could spend some good hours rummaging in search of something special to buy for a couple of Euros. Everything you find at the market comes from clearings managed by the association or from some private donation; the proceeds are for a good cause, too. Surprisingly, this place is popular among stylists and costume designer in search of inspiration. So take an afternoon off to fumble around this little hodgepodge paradise. You’ll find something unique.
