Ostello Bello is looking for a Head of Bar to join the Como location with a full-time contract of 40 hours per week,

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming bar guests in line with Ostello Bello standards, including the preparation of cocktails, beverages, and coffee products;
• Managing and training the bar team: scheduling shifts and holidays, defining professional growth goals, in close collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager;
• Supervising orders, supplies, and stock management, in coordination with the Food & Beverage Manager;
• Contributing to the achievement of the property’s goals, working in synergy with the Operations team;
• Constant collaboration with the Reception Manager and other managerial roles to coordinate activities and achieve shared objectives;
• Handling basic financial and accounting tasks related to bar operations.

The ideal candidate has:

Ostello Bello is looking for a Bartender to join the team at our Milan Central Station hostel, starting in September 2026.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting bar guests in line with Ostello Bello’s standards
• Preparing cocktails and coffee-based drinks
• Managing the till
• Taking care of the common areas and monitoring stock levels

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in preparing cocktails and coffee-based drinks
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in the hostel sector
• Energy and motivation to work in hospitality
• A natural talent for welcoming people and a desire to create unique experiences for our guests
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent command of both Italian and English

Working hours will generally be from 5:00 pm to midnight.

Availability required from: September 2026
Compensation: Annual gross salary € 17,000 – € 22,000
Workplace: Via Lepetit 33, Milan

Ostello Bello is looking for a Head of Reception to join our Florence team on a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract, starting in October 2026.

The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

• Achieving the hostel’s targets, both in terms of financial performance and the quality of the guest experience (customer care)
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the reception and taking care of the hostel’s common areas
• Coordinating the team: planning shifts, managing holidays, providing training, and setting professional development goals
• Working closely with the Bar Manager and other members of the management team to ensure shared objectives are achieved
• Handling basic financial and administrative tasks, including basic accounting activities

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A natural aptitude for hospitality and a passion for creating authentic and memorable experiences for guests
• Solid experience of at least 2 years in a position of responsibility, preferably within hostels or similar hospitality businesses
• Strong team management and motivational skills, with a clear focus on achieving objectives
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine motivation to work in the hospitality industry
• Strong empathy and problem-solving skills in dynamic and fast-paced environments
• Excellent command of both Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus
• Good familiarity with digital tools, particularly booking and property management systems, as well as Excel spreadsheets for reporting

Excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional approach to interpersonal relationships, and a basic understanding of the operational and administrative aspects of running a hospitality property complete the profile.
